Work we have finished in Boynton Beach

What we run into in Boynton Beach
Boynton has a lot of housing from the seventies and eighties, and the original concrete driveways on those homes are now well past the point where patching helps. That is the single most common call we take from the city, usually from the neighbourhoods off Woolbright Road and Congress Avenue.
The other half of our Boynton work is 55-plus communities. Hunters Run, Leisureville and the villages around them have architectural review, so the paver has to be approved before it is ordered. We have had colours pass in these communities already, which usually saves a fortnight versus starting from a catalogue.
East of Federal Highway, closer to the Intracoastal and the Boynton Inlet, salt air changes what we recommend sealing with and how often. It is a genuine difference from a job two miles inland, not a sales line.
Lots here tend to be flat. On a flat lot a driveway cannot always be pitched enough to shed a summer downpour on its own, which is why a fair number of our Boynton driveways end up tied into a French drain.
The Boynton Beach Chamber of Commerce is the local business body, and the city's Community Redevelopment Agency has been steadily reworking the Ocean Avenue and marina district for years.
What we install in Boynton Beach
Paver sealing in Boynton Beach
Sprinkler staining is the most common thing we get called about in Boynton. Heads that throw onto a driveway instead of the lawn leave a rust-orange edge that will not wash off, and it shows up worse on the lighter pavers the 55-plus communities tend to approve. East of Federal Highway you get salt on top of it. Paver sealing locks the surface once it has been treated and re-sanded, and on a normal driveway the whole thing is done in a day. If a bad sprinkler head is the cause we will tell you, because sealing around one only buys time.
Paver repair and re-leveling in Boynton Beach
The flat lots in Boynton are what bring most of our paver repair calls. Water sits rather than runs, a downspout or an irrigation head washes sand out from under one area, and the surface follows it down. Paver leveling fixes that properly: lift the pavers, rebuild and recompact the base, relay the originals. Topping the joints up with sand looks like a fix for about a season. If drainage is the real cause we will say so, because otherwise the same dip comes back.
Boynton Beach questions we get asked
Do you actually work in Boynton Beach?
Yes, regularly. Three of the jobs in our project gallery are Boynton, including a pool deck and two full home exteriors. Every photograph on this page is from those jobs.
How long is the drive from your yard to Boynton Beach?
We are at 1200 Pope Ln in Lake Worth Beach, which is about fifteen minutes up the road. Boynton is one of the closest cities we serve.
Will my Boynton Beach HOA need to approve the pavers?
In most of the 55-plus communities, yes. We can bring samples that have already been approved nearby, which is usually faster than submitting something new.
Can you replace a cracked concrete driveway in Boynton Beach?
That is a large share of what we do in the city. The old concrete comes out rather than getting paved over, because pavers laid on an old slab crack along the same lines it did.
Do you do pool decks in Boynton Beach?
Yes, and one of the three Boynton jobs in our gallery is exactly that. Travertine is the usual choice here because it stays cooler underfoot.
