Outdoor Kitchens
An outdoor kitchen in Palm Beach County gets used all year, which is exactly why materials that survive indoors do not survive out here.

- Construction, counters and appliance fitting
- Cleanup and a walk-through
Building something that survives a South Florida summer
Humidity and salt air destroy the wrong cabinetry within a couple of seasons. Marine-grade stainless, solid masonry, or purpose-built outdoor cabinetry are the options that last. Standard indoor units are not.
Counters take direct UV all year. Some stone fades and some holds. Porcelain and the denser granites do best. Softer marble in full sun is a decision to make with your eyes open.
Utilities are the part that has to be right first. Gas, water, drainage and power all go in before the base and the pavers, because retrofitting through finished work is expensive and never quite as clean.
Shade and prevailing breeze matter more than people expect. A grill placed without thinking about where the smoke goes makes the seating area unusable.
Questions we get asked
What materials last outdoors here?
Marine-grade stainless, masonry, and purpose-built outdoor cabinetry. Indoor units fail fast in this humidity and salt air.
Do the utilities have to be done first?
Yes. Gas, water, drainage and power go in before the base and the pavers. Retrofitting afterwards is expensive.
Can you build into an existing patio?
Often, though it may mean lifting an area to run services. We will tell you what is involved before you commit.
Do I need a permit?
Usually, particularly for gas and electrical. We will walk you through what applies to your property.
Often done at the same time
